Tayten loves his hamster he got for Christmas. He named her Fluffy. The first few weeks he loved to pet her and would only hold her if he had gloves on. When we would try to get him to hold her he would say "She's got pokies". I finally convinced him they were just her finger nails and that they would not hurt him. He loves to hold her now, and she has slowed down a bit so it is easier for him to handle her.
How cute! Every kid needs a pet. Ours have been begging for another dog for a while now. I'm not even going to show my kids a pic of cute little fluffy or else they'll be begging for a hamster too.
