Aryns's First day of Preschool
Our baby girl started preschool today!!!! I can not believe she is 4 and in school. We deciced the best option for Aryn and us was to get her in as a typical peer at Parkview Preschool. She had to go in for testing and test above level to qualify. I was told she did amazing and was a super star. We were extremely excited to hear that she did get in, and best of all that she would have Miss Kristi & Miss Tami for her teachers. She attends Monday and Wednesday afternoons. I look forward to seeing her grow and learn. She is so cute, we had to get a few pictures before I took her to school!

Taytens's First day of School
Wow, where has the time gone. Tayten started 1st grade today!!! He was super excited to go to school. He has Miss Flint for his teach, she seems like a great teacher. I walked him to his class where we found his new desk.

We also found his backback/coat cubby.

And of course I was a big baby. I love seeing him grow, and I love that he is so excited. I just hope the best for him. It is hard to imagine he will be gone all day. I hope that he does well in school, and really enjoys learning. I hope that he will make friends, and be a good example to those he is around. Man it is hard to loosen those apron strings and give him the freedom he needs. Love you Tayten, hope you have an awesome year!!!!!

Scooter Him Around!
Today Aryn says: "Mom, when the baby comes out of your tummy we should hook my scooter to my bike. Then we can put the baby on the bike and I can scooter him around." So precious!

Carnival Fun
I took the kids to a carnival that was set up in town for the weekend. They love the rides, and could have gone all night. We also ran into Steve, Aundrea, Brittany, & Shaylee. So the kids rode a few rides with her. We played a fishing game and they won little green frogs, that they love. We also had to get cotton candy for each of us. Pretty bad when their cotton candy last longer than mine. Gotta love the pure sugar! Ryan was in West Virginia for work, so it was sad not having him there, but we took some pictures and sent him a text message.

Tayten's Kindergarten Graduation
Our boy graduated from Kindergarten today. It seems like just yesterday that he stared school, now he is a first grader and will be at school all day. He has grown and changed so much this last year. He has made friends and really enjoyed his class and teacher. He has become more independent, which has been pretty hard on mommy.
Today at his graduation the kids sang a couple of songs that they have been practicing all year. They did so good, and it was so much fun watching him. Then they read each childs name and gave them their diploma. Afterwards we went back to his class for treats, and to say goodbye! What a day to remember! He does not understand why he can not keep going to school, and why he needs a summer break. Eventually that will be what he looks forward to!

Remembering Grandma & Grandpa Johnson
Before we headed back to Boise on Memorial Day, we meet Mom & Dad, Kody & Brittney & the cousins at Grandma & Grandpa Johnsons grave site. We talked to the kids about how today we remember those who have died, by placing flowers on their grave. Mom had cut some flowers from her yard so each of the kids could make a bouquet for them. They also had little flags they put around the head stone. I remember going to Grandma Johnsons house and picking flowers from her yard to place on Grandpa's grave, so we thought it would be a fun tradition to start with the grandkids. I think the kids had fun learning about my grandparent and making a bouquet for them.

Ken's Baptism
Ken was baptisted today! We are so happy for him and Kamille, and the steps they have made to get to this point! Ryan was very honored to be the one performing the ordinance. Almost 3 years ago we were on the Oregon Coast with Ken & Kamille for their wedding, where a funny event happened that lead to Ryan being asked. So we thought it would be fun to go crabbing, since none of us had been before. So the process went like this: you bait the pot, throw the pots out into the water, wait a while for the bait to attact the crabs, then pull the pots back on deck, measure the or crab, and start the process over again. We were not having much luck, we were catching alot of small ones. There was a board near the edge of the dock for you to put your foot against when you are throwing the pots out. They had been going for a while and the dock was getting wet and slippery. Ken started with his foot near the board at the edge of the dock, he then started standing on the board to get a better throw, then he was standing on the other side on the edge of the dock. They were throwing out their pots, when Ryan heard a huge splash behind him. He turns around and sees Ken in the water, he had thrown a pot out and went with it. So Ryan reaches out and pulls Ken onto the dock, and joking he tells him "I did not know whether to pull you out or raise my arm to the square and baptise you." Everyone got a good laugh, and 3 years later, he was able to raise his arm to the square and baptise Ken, as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! The spirit was very strong!
