Soccer

Tayten's going to playing soccer this year! We went to Liberty park and bought him a ball, shoes, shin guards, and a Nampa Kids Soccer bag to carry his ball in. We also got Aryn a ball, that way she could practice too! He is so excited to play and make new friends. Ryan & I have never played soccer, and this is the first year for Tayten. So after getting his new gear we decided to kick the ball around.

Nite Nite, Sweet Dreams Mommy!

Last night we were putting the kids to bed. Giving loves & kisses and tucking them in (the regular night time routine). I was picking up the house a little and walked past Taytens room and he called out to me "Nite Nite, Sweet Dreams Mommy!" He melted my heart. I turned and smiled at him and replied "Sweet Dreams Sweetheart" What a simple & sweet moment to remember!

Fishin' with Little Papa

"I'm excited" says Tayten. "Go Fishin" says Aryn. The kids were just beside themselves to go fishing with Papa. They had a great day on the shores of the Oakley dam. Aryn was the only one who caught a fish but you wouldn't have known it as the adventure itself was the highlight of their day.

No wonder they only caught one fish! You're supposed to use bait not rocks.

Aryn says, "Put it back Papa, put it back!"

Only Tayten would hold the fish . . . after it stopped flipping water on him.

Valentines Day

The kids sure love surprises! They were excited to find cars/princess kitchen aprons, soft teddy bears, gum ball golf clubs & shirts in their Valentines Day bag! They also loved their box of chocolate & giant balloons! We had doughnuts & chocolate milk for breakfast, and the doughnuts had gummy worms on them that Tayten thought was pretty cool! Daddy got mom flowers, what a sweetheart! Tayten was a little sad that he did not get flowers, so I cut one short and put it in a cup for him. Love you!

Valentines Dinner

We celebrated Valentines by going out to dinner, Mexican food, nothing says love like Carne Asada.

Tayten & Fluffy the hamster

Tayten loves his hamster he got for Christmas. He named her Fluffy. The first few weeks he loved to pet her and would only hold her if he had gloves on. When we would try to get him to hold her he would say "She's got pokies". I finally convinced him they were just her finger nails and that they would not hurt him. He loves to hold her now, and she has slowed down a bit so it is easier for him to handle her.

Fun at Chuck E Cheese!

Little Papa and Little Nana came to visit so we decided to take the kids to Chuck E Cheese. The kids had a blast, and loved collecting tickets. I think Daddy & Papa also had fun playing some of the games. I challenged mom to a dance off, and we spent more time laughing then getting any of the steps right. The kids even take a picture with Chuck E. Cheese, they usually freak out around mascots but they were so brave. Thanks Mom and Dad for the fun day, we all left so exhausted.
